Amazing read - Empty Mansions

When I purchased Empty Mansions by Bill Dedman and Paul Clark Newell Jr., I was hoping that it would give me glimpse into what life was for one of the families that has been synonymous with building the United States. Page by page, Bill and Paul were were able to thoughtfully present copious amount of historical information in a manner that any reader can enjoy.

Page by page, I began to have more questions about Huguette Clark and how she lived in a world of unbelievable wealth cloaked in mystery. With being the daughter of W.A. Clark, whose achievements rival that of the Vanderbilts and the Rockefellers; Huguette had a lavish childhood and later faced obstacles as an adult that placed her in a state of systematic chaos.

For those that enjoy learning about a family that shaped the history of the United States, Empty Mansions will give you insight into a family that was almost forgotten.

Best,

-Wally
